The First Aid at Work (FAW) course is run over three days at our Centre in Birmingham or at a location for your convenience. Certification is dependent upon, continuous practical assessment, a theory based questionnaire and verification by an external assessor on the final afternoon. Those candidates who complete the course and are deemed proficient to have reached the required standards are issued with an accredited certificate that is valid for three years*.

The course can be delivered on a non-consecutive day basis, for example, one day a week for three weeks by arrangement.

If a delegate has previously completed the full 3-day First Aid at Work Course and their certification is in date or within 28 days after the expiry date you may wish to consider the 2-day requalification course.

* Under the current guidelines it is 'strongly recommended' that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every 12 months - before completing full re-qualification training at the three year point.
