Resilience Workshop For Those in The Caring Profession in Birmingham - 1/2 day

Welcome to TECC's Resilience Workshop for those in the Caring Profession


Our half-day workshop in Birmingham is for individuals who would like to gain an understanding of resilience and the impact 'caring' can have upon them, either personally or professionally. 

Our workshop covers:

  • Core concepts of resilience
  • Research and resilience models
  • Internal and external factors
  • Developing personal resilience
  • Strategies and interventions
  • Benefits of resilience
  • Art of containment
  • Vicarious trauma

Upon completion of the workshop delegates will:

  • be aware of the impact resilience can have personally or professionally
  • recognise barriers to developing resilience
  • comprehend the importance of self care
  • understand and apply concepts which can build resilience and recognise the benefits
  • understand the importance of health and wellbeing 
  • be able to access both internal and external sources of support

The training is provided in a friendly, informative and supportive environment at our centre in Birmingham. The written activities and practical creative exercises provide consistent opportunities to promote confidence and competence, enabling the training to be evaluated and evidenced.

TECC provides regular booster sessions and support in relation to sustaining performance through developing personal resilience. Delegates will receive detailed literature and additional resources to further support and promote the development of resilience.

Additional support in relation to policy and procedure can be provided upon request for companies and 
organisations.
