About TECC in Birmingham

Welcome to TECC Services

Founded 2010

Welcome to TECC’s about page, here you will be able to gain insight into our history and how we have evolved into a provider of a diverse range of both therapeutic and educational services for children, young people, adults, families and organisations. Our premises are conveniently located in Erdington, Birmingham.

'Our vision is to provide inclusive access to services for all ages'

TECC initially provided counselling and supervision but has grown over time to offer further services including first aid, stress management, social care sector training and therapeutic and educational continuing professional development.

TECC's growth came about from conversations with others and personal and professional experiences. This highlighted the services needed either simply did not exist, or fell short of the expectations and accessibility that you would like to think and hope would be readily available. TECC has been built on passion, commitment and tireless effort to ensure all our services from therapy to training do not lose sight of your needs and requirements.

As the founder
and director of TECC Services, I have extensive experience of 15+ years working with children, young people and adults presenting with severe and complex emotional, behavioural and psychological needs. I am a registered member of the BACP and adhere to the Ethical Framework For Good Practice.

I am also a member of numerous organisations, which include: CCYP, AIP, HCPJ, PTUK, ISMA. EAP, CIEH, AOFA, AFAHST and AID. I have taught CPCAB accredited counselling courses from Level 2 ~ 5 and design and deliver continuing professional development courses for the counselling, social care and education sectors which meet the standards and guidelines set by the H.S.E and associated regulatory bodies.

At present I provide counselling, clinical supervision and consult in a variety of areas associated with counselling, supervision, social care and training.

"It is my hope that TECC Services will provide a welcoming environment where individuals will feel safe, secure and accepted; emotionally, personally and professionally".

TECC’s continuing professional development and training opportunities have been specifically developed to ensure each delegate is given the opportunity to actively engage in the learning process. We believe by valuing and empowering each individual, we are in a position to provide services which will speak volumes for themselves, each person contributes to the process of improving services; recognising that enables us to consistently monitor and review our training, providing the best service possible.

If you have any questions or would like the opportunity to discuss any of our services, please do not hesitate to contact us.
